Knitted by hand by female artisans in Kenya. The pure wool used is grown locally in Kenya, spun on recycled bicycle wheels and then dyed using all natural dyes from plants and vegetables.

Located in the agricultural community of Njoro, knitters are provided a safe, family-friendly working environment.

Income from their knitting empowers these women – many of whom are single mothers – by offering them a chance to work and take charge of their lives, with pride and dignity.

Each one has their own personality!
